This Aerospace Information Report (AIR) is written as a guide for the wording recommended for use, when applicable, in design and procurement specifications for tube fittings and tube assemblies, both for general aerospace fluid power applications and for specific applications. NOTES: 1. A comprehensive writeup of the Impulse, Flexure and Fire Tests is included in Appendix A, Section 3. 2. The companion metric documents are indicated in Appendix B, Section 4.
