This procedure is applicable only to the evaluation of cleaning methods proposed for removal of service dirt. It is not applicable to cleaning methods for built-in dirt, LOX cleaning, etc. This ARP presents a procedure for evaluating filter element cleaning methods with respect to contaminant removal and filter element degradation, and a procedure for checking durability of cleaning equipment. A referee cleaning method is also included.
