Scope:

This specification covers an aircraft-quality, low-alloy steel in the form of round, seamless tubing having a wall thickness not greater than 0.188 inch (4.78 mm).

This tubing has been typically used in thin wall-thickness sections where a minimum tensile strength of 125 psi (862 MPa) is required, but usage is not limited to such applications.
