Scope:

This specification covers a corrosion and heat resistant work strengthened nickel alloy in the form of bars and wire.

These products have been used typically for parts, such as fasteners, requiring a room temperature minimum tensile strength of 220 ksi (1517 MPa) after precipitation heat treatement for use up to 900 degrees F (482 degrees C) and having oxidation resistance up to 1800 degrees F (982 degrees C), but usage is not limited to such applications.
