The scope of this document is limited to human factors issues, problems, and requirements for the implemented of Crew Resource Management (CRM) training in a useful, effective manner from both pilot and management viewpoints. This ARD does not address CRM or Human Factors issues related to training for advanced technology ('glass cockpit') aircraft. Those issues are currently being addressed by the training subcommittee in ARD50041, 'Training for Automation'.
