This Aeronautical Resource Document (ARD) identifies the personnel that are active in the field of aircraft inflight icing. These people, and their companies or organizations, support research and development that provide a better understanding of the problems of inflight icing, an provide equipment to make flight in icing conditions safer. This directory is intended to make communication among those in the field easier and to encourage advancements in ice protection technology. While the directory is extensive and current at the time of printing, there will be changes with time. However, the information contained herein should provide a good starting point for contacting other icing experts.

The information in this ARD should be useful in encouraging and facilitating contact between those people working the field of inflight icing. This ARD will also provide the basis for mailing lists for conferences that deal with icing. This document was prepared by Subcommittee AC-9C, Aircraft Icing Technology, of the Aircraft Environmental Systems Committee, from information gathered and compiled by individuals that have been active in contact with many organizations.
