Scope:

This specification covers a corrosion and heat resistant iron alloy in the form of investment castings.

These castings been used typically for small parts, such as turbine blades and vanes, requiring high strength up to 1350 degrees F (732 degrees C) and oxidation resistance up to 1800 degrees F (982 degrees C), but usage is not limited to such applications.
