Primarily for parts requiring high strength up to 600F degrees (315F degrees). These products are also well suited for cryogenic applications and where welding and maximum corrosion resistance are required. Certain design and processing procedures may cause these products to become susceptible to stress-corrosion cracking after heat treatment; ARP 823 recommends practices to minimize such conditions.
