This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of welding wire. Primarily for use as filler metal for gas-tungsten-arc welding of base metal of similar composition intended for cryogenic or elevated temperature applications, particularly for use with equipment providing continuous inert gas shielding of the wire as it passes from the dispenser to the welding arc, where high reliability of joints is required.
