Scope:

This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of bars, wire, forgings, and forging stock. Primarily for parts requiring high strength up to 1000 degrees F (538 degrees C). Certain processing procedures and service conditions may cause these products to become subject to stress-corrosion cracking. ARP 982 recommends practices to minimize such conditions.
