The purpose of this document is to establish requirements for a Data Flow Network (DFN) in real time avionics systems. These requirements are intended to define the attributes necessary to perform the flexible, multiple, concurrent, non-blocking, high bandwidth interconnect function. These requirements are driven predominantly by military aerospace platforms.
