The scope of this document is limited to data link human factors issues, problems, and requirements for implementation (both historical and currently open). Any overlap into logic problems or hardware/software design should be considered to be incidental to the human factors research issues. This document is a compilation of human factors issues regarding data link systems. It is intended that the document be a living report of the human factors 'health' of data link as well as provide a historical perspective of the issues that have been considered. It will be updated to reflect research activities as they affect the issues.
