Scope:

The purpose of this SAE Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) is to establish criteria for the installation and stowage of emergency equipment in the cabin to ensure that the equipment is available and accessible. The goal is to promote expedient access to equipment by encouraging standardization and reducing reorientation of crewmembers to alternate stowage provisions when changing types, models, and/or series of transport aircraft within an operator's fleet.
