Scope:

This specification covers a corrosion and heat resistant nickel alloy in the form of bars, forgings, flash welded rings, and stock for forging and flash welded rings.

These products have been used typically for parts requiring high strength at temperatures in the range 800 1100 degrees F (427 to 593 degrees C), particularly those which are formed or welded, but usage is not limited to such applications.
